COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN UPDATE

Wayne
County, Pennsylvania is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which was
first adopted on December 27, 1994. The Update is
being
conducted at the direction of the Wayne
County Commissioners Brian Smith, Anthony Herzog and Wendell
Kay.
It is being managed by the Wayne
County Planning Commission and Planning Department and the
consulting firm of Woodland
Design Associates. The firm Shepstone
Management Company is also assisting together with James R.
Martin. Several meetings have been held during the process.
Resident and second-home surveys are being conducted to
gather
public input during the Update process.

Draft sections of the Comprehensive Plan Update may be reviewed at this website as they are developed for review by County officials. The Plan is expected to be completed in 2010.
